I have had lots of people tell me I look like I've dropped. Both Victor and I can't really tell but we see my stomach every day. It is probably safe to say that I am "nesting", but we are having inspections at the apartment and my manager has to walk through every apartment including mine. Normally, I do this but this time it seems I am decluttering A LOT more, throwing out A LOT more, and taking A LOT to our storage shed, at first having the storage shed bothered me paying for extra room to hold more junk but I am really dejunking the house and taking most of the stuff I plan to keep at least until we buy a home there. Only one problem with the storage shed is not having it right here.

Cravings: This week I ate breakfast every day :). That is something I still rarely do. It seemed that I ate the same things all week, and am still not bored with any of them. I would cook an egg, add a piece of cheese and toast bread put it all together and call it breakfast :). We have also had white rice with almost every meal. I thought Victor was going to be sick of it but he's a trooper and has eaten it each time; one time even asking "no rice?" but in a tone that made me think he wanted it !!

T.M.C: Your baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. He now weighs almost 6 pounds and is a little under 19 inches long. He's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered his body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected his skin during his nine-month amniotic bath. Your baby swallows both of these substances, along with other secretions, resulting in a blackish mixture, called meconium, will form the contents of his first bowel movement. At the end of this week, your baby will be considered full-term. (Full-term is 37 to 42 weeks; babies born before 37 weeks are pre-term and those born after 42 are post-term.) Most likely he's in a head-down position. But if he isn't, your practitioner may suggest scheduling an "external cephalic version," which is a fancy way of saying he'll try to coax your baby into a head-down position by manipulating him from the outside of your belly.

***Side Note*** Baby has been head down since I was 28-29 weeks along!

I decided to wait until after my doctor's appointment to post this week (rather then on Sunday) so that I could just talk about my doctor's appointment and 36 weeks at the same time.... Here goes:
-
I first apologized to my doctor and he assured me that he didn't even realized that I'd yelled at him! Also, he checked me and I now "looser" then last week maybe a 2. Okay here is where I a scream "DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW BIG 2 CENTIMETERS REALLY IS!?!?!" right there on the wall was a diagram that explains the different sizes of centimeters....which for those of you (like me) who didn't know a 2 is the size of a quarter! EWW!

Nothing else really of notable interest, except again my blood pressure was too high. :(

Thank You Leslie LaRee for apologizing to Dr. Gramann. He is one of the best people and Dr. In that delivery room you will probably want him by your side as much as Victor.(Maybe more) He has done this alot.I would trust him with my life and the lifes of my children and 2 grandchildren and I did. He is a very caring Dr. and will do whatever he has to to make things safe and good for the three of you. Are you still swelling??? Love Aunt Tammy
