Holy Cow! I have probably said this a thousand times but ITS GETTING CLOSE! Yikes, we are SO not ready. Just when we think we will be finishing the babies room something else comes up :). Victor is going to be having surgery (most likely) in July and before that we wanted to finish the "Honey Do List Before the Baby Comes" :)! Victor has never been one to actually follow a "Honey Do List" but with the baby coming he actually has something going and so he has finished almost all of my wishlist. The two major jobs were painting and flooring. It seems we will be doing that this week. First working on the living room and kitchen painting Monday and then the flooring Tuesday. I have spent most of this weekend (between mulitiple naps) "packing" YEAH it stinks!
Not much to report as for doctor's appointment. Everything normal and the same as before. I only gained 1.5 pounds in the 3 weeks! YIPEE! I only have 1 more 2 week appointment (July 3rd) and then every Tuesday from then on!
A friend and I were talking and she said we'll the baby can come two weeks early and be full term, that gives you five weeks. Currently, with our list he can not come any sooner then planned :), but if we finish all our to-do and surgeries with time to spare THEN it's okay :)!
Cravings: I ate at the Teriyaki place like 3 or 4 times this week!
Aversions: Nothing that I can think of....
T.M.C: This week your baby weighs a little over 4 pounds and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. (The pressure on the head during birth is so intense that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance.) These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood.
****Quick Side Note and Funny Story**** I am pleased to read that many babies are born with a conehead-like appearance! I was one of them and since about 28 weeks this kid has been down in the birth canal ready. Which worried me that he, too, would be born with a conehead. My aunts like to remind me of how funny I looked, yeah I love them for the sweet memories:).

Leslie,
Your Aunt's didn't say you were ugly, we (me) had just never seen a baby with such a cone on her head. The litttle hat barely covered the tip. I was glad to have grandma Dale there to assure me it would get normal eventually.Love Aunt Tammy
If I implied you guys called me ugly that is not what I meant. I meant you guys always remind me of the conehead, neither good or bad just that I came out looking odd. :) Maybe I just needed more room from my full and wise brain :) HA!
