WOW! Only 13 weeks left! YIKES! This week has been very busy and productive. Candice and I sat down and made the invitations for the baby shower. We sent them out and I have already had people tell me yes and no they can make it! We were more or less getting them out because my Grandma was adament about everyone needing 1 month notice (we sent them out on the one month date!). We got an email that our dresser and changing table were in the store and late Friday night we went and picked them up (thanks to Candice and her jeep). We got home about 11 and Victor started putting the dresser together. He finished about 1AM! As each drawer was finished I folded and placed the clothing that I already have in each drawer :)! The OCD part of me even has each drawer age catergorized. Drawer 1: Preemie and Newborn, Drawer 2: 0-3 Months, Drawer 3: 3-6 Months, Drawer 4: 6-12 Months, Drawer 5: 12-24 Months! He is just now finishing the changing table!
Cravings: It seems lately that I go in spurts of wanting the same thing for about a week. This week it was pizza. We ate out for lunch having pizza and I made a few frozen pizzas for lunches...Pizza, Pizza, Pizza. Which lead to heartburn, heartburn, heartburn!
Aversions: Nothing Much! Luckily there hasn't been anything that makes my stomach turn. I have pretty much stayed away from anything that just didn't "sound" good and have done well.
T.M.C: Your baby is really starting to fill up your uterus. This week he weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 14.4 inches long with his legs extended. He can now open and close his eyes, and he sleeps and wakes at regular intervals. He may suck his fingers, and although his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with assistance — if he were to be born prematurely. Chalk up any rhythmic movement you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and isn't bothersome to him, so enjoy the tickle. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. Wonder what he's thinking?
