My aunt Lisa does this "string test" to determine the sex of your baby. She previously predicted (before I was pregnant) that I would have a total of 2 children, both girls. I think she did this a few years ago, but I have yet to forget. In fact, my comment was "well, I guess if I could just get them done at the same time {meaning twins} I think I would be less crazy to have TWO girls!"
Today she predicted that I was going to have a girl. (She does have a 1 in 2 chance she is right!)
We will have to wait and see. I totally believe in her ability to do this string test because the first great-grandbaby was predicted (by Aunt Lisa) to be a girl but the ultrasound said boy (twice!) and, well, I can not repeat my cousin's words on this blog (as it is PG-13 and lower ;)!) when his daughter was born! She has only been wrong a few times (I think twice) but with Jordan she was SO sure she was going to be a girl and even the ultrasound tech said Jordan was supposed to be a boy, so she has some talent!
I have my regular doctor's appointment this Wednesday and that is when we will set up our ultrasound appointment to confirm...I have to say, as of yet, I still have NO feelings of 100% it is a boy or the baby is a girl. Victor wants a girl, I just one a healthy baby with all 10 toes and fingers, etc!

Lisa did the string test on me 24 year's ago when I was pregnant with you and it said I was having a girl and HELLO???, then with Jeffrey it said a boy but that was the last time she did it. Then after Lexus was born she did it on me again and it went girl, boy, girl, girl and then came to a dead stop! Even though I had only planned on having you and Jeffrey (since I had a child of each gender) when I got pregnant with Deana it really wasn't a shock to me but then 17 year's later???? I think if Aunt Lisa is going to do the "String Test" she need's to do it until the needle come's to a complete stop the first time she does it on someone so they won't end up with the shock of their life like I did!!! Love, Mom
