I think I am a weird one that reads most magazine from back to front (rather then the normal person who probably reads front to back?). I got this month's Pregnancy Magazine and flipped to the back to start reading. It had this cute article that I wanted to put on here...Maybe those other preggos out there can enjoy this also!
Between morning sickness and too-tight wedding rings, sometimes it can be hard to find anything to appreciate about expecting a baby (beyond, the impending bundle of joy, of course). This spring, stop and smell the roses, so to speak, and consider these bonuses of being pregnant:
- Buying, and receiving, all those cute baby items, regardless of the expense.
- Letting other people help you, by opening doors, carrying bags, or propping your feet up!
- Taking lot naps that everyone will understand.
- Getting away with being round and plump.
- Noshing all day (nutritiously, of course).
- Gaining those hormone-induced gifts: thicker hair, longer nails, and more bountiful boobs.
- Being told you're beautiful and glowing. (You probably won't feel that way when there's spit-up in your hair.)
- Having a good excuse to reconnect with old friends and distant family.
- Dreaming about your baby-to-be---before actually habing to be a mom.
- Receiving lots of attention just for being preggers.
Anyways, I thought this was too cute to pass up on! Some of these I can already relate to, my wedding ring is to snug so I have started wearing a right hand ring that Victor bought me (it seems to fit perfect on my wedding ring finger and I have had a few comments like "is that your wedding ring, or that is a pretty ring".... Also, longer nails and slightly thicker hair, (I already had "large" boobs so THANKFULLY I haven't noticed a big change...And I am learning to cope with the attention (such as touchy-feely people and my belly) that comes with being preggers...
